Juara Beach is located on the mid east of Tioman Island, still an undiscovered part of the island. It is the longest and the most quiet beach on the island and the only place where you can watch sun rise. Its palm fringed shores, fine white sand and crystal clear sea make this beach one of Malaysia’s best. Activities such as swimming, snorkelling in nearby coral reefs and canoeing also make it a popular choice. It's ideal for those in search of peace and tranquility.
Three mountain rivers empty cold fresh waters to the beach which will make you tingle with cold. A path leads from the beach to waterfalls in the jungle. Visitors will be able to feel the freshness and the coldness of the mountain, which cannot be found in any other part of this island.
A visit to Tioman which is the private property of Berjaya Tioman Beach resort is must. It is a private palm trees lined beach with soft clear sand stretches. A 2.5 hour trek from Kampung Telek will take you to the secluded and serene beach of Kampung Juara. The best season to visit is from March to September.
